Liquor Stores Open on Sunday in Texas?

"Bills Would Let Liquor Stores Open on Sundays", written by Elena Schnieder in the Texas Tribune, is about the possibility of a bill getting passed in Texas for the selling of liquor on Sunday. Throughout the article she she states that if the liquor store are open on Sunday's, they could possibly generate millions of dollar. However, the workers state otherwise. They say that by opening on Sundays they won't make that much because of other costs of the stores. The article closes off by saying that they have tried to do this before and it has failed, so there is a strong possibility that the bill won't even get passed.

I don't believe that bill should be passed simply because of the workers. They should have at least a day off. Also, like the owners said, there probably wouldn't be any extra revenue due to the extra hours. You have to take into consideration the bills they have to pay for just that day. There's also the fact that some people go to church on Sunday's, would they be stopped from going? It's a good idea when just speaking about it, but when you really start to think about the details, it's not so great.
