Ted Cruz

In Eileen Smith's post called "Shooting Blanks", Smith is pretty much calling Ted Cruz a liar. She goes by saying that he wants to "...defend the right to bear arms, especially for tiny little scared men who think they can only protect their tiny little scared selves by buying every assault weapon imaginable. Anytime. Anywhere. From anyone." which is very commical because some people are like this! They want to pull out a gun for every little bad thing that goes wrong, instead of maybe talking it out (or something civil like that).

The second thing she says is that Cruz said that Marco Rubio (a Democrat) only bashed him because of his "Hispanic" race and being a Republican. I don't all the way agree that Cubans (that's what Cruz says he is) aren't hispanic, because they do indeed follow a hispanic culture. However I do agree when she says that he's not REALLY Cuban because of his religious views (Southern Baptist). I don't know if there are really any Baptist hispanic people. Most of them, that I know anyway, are Catholic or some sort of Christian.

So no, I don't think that Ted Cruz should be going around and calling himself a "Hispanic Republican" based on the facts she put in this article.

All in all, I pretty much agree with what she's saying about him. It seems like he's not really watching what he says.
